Chapter 1: General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to define the terms and procedures necessary for the use of the KidsTopia service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") operated by LG Uplus Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").
Article 2 (Definitions of Terms)
The terms used in these Terms and Conditions are defined as follows:
- "Service" refers to the KidsTopia app, AI services, and all related programs and software operated by the Company.
- "User" refers to an individual who has entered into a service use contract with the Company and uses the Service in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- "Content" refers to all copyrighted works created by LG Uplus for the configuration and operation of the Service, including but not limited to spaces, avatars, items, videos, images, games, text, stories, graphics, music, and phrases. It also includes all materials contained in the Service, such as selection, arrangement, and customization of such works.
Article 3 (Display, Effectiveness, and Modification of the Terms and Conditions)
- The Company shall display the content of these Terms and Conditions on the Service's main screen and settings page so that Users can easily access them. However, Users may view the full details through a linked page.
- The Company may amend these Terms and Conditions within the scope that does not violate the "Regulation of Terms and Conditions Act," the "Framework Act on Electronic Documents and Electronic Transactions," the "Electronic Signature Act," the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection," and other applicable laws.
- When the Company modifies these Terms and Conditions, it shall specify the effective date and reason for the modification and notify Users at least 15 days before the effective date through the Service homepage. However, if the modifications are disadvantageous to Users, they shall be notified at least 30 days in advance.
- If the Company notifies Users of changes in the Terms and Conditions and states that a failure to express rejection by the effective date will be considered acceptance, and if the User does not explicitly reject the changes, it will be deemed that the User has agreed to the modified Terms and Conditions.
- If a User does not agree to the revised Terms and Conditions, they may terminate the service use contract and discontinue use of the Service.
Article 4 (Supplementary Rules)
For matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions, the relevant provisions of the "Regulation of Terms and Conditions Act," the "Framework Act on Electronic Documents and Electronic Transactions," the "Electronic Signature Act," the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection," and other applicable laws shall apply.
